Mr.
Sanjay Gupta
Director-Finance
Sanjay is
a CA & ICWA professional with twelve years experience in the corporate
sector with a focus on financial accounting, consolidation and
finalization of accounts/balance sheet, tax planning, product costing,
pricing and cost control, and internal, statutory and management audit.
Prior to joining the PCI/India team on July 25, 2005, Sanjay worked for
Haier Appliances (India) Ltd. As Director-Finance and PCI/India, his
responsibilities include supervision, guidance and mentoring of the
entire finance team, financial management and control, handling of
business laws and regulations, financial reporting to donors and the PCI
International Office, and system formulation for various financial
operation activities.

Mr. Peter Joseph
Trinidad
Director-HR & Administration
Peter has a master’s degree and more
than 21 years of experience in NGO networking, women’s empowerment,
rural development, project formulation implementation, and human
resource management of various developmental programs. Before joining
PCI/India in January 2003 as the State Coordinator in Rajasthan, he
worked with CARE-India for more than 13 years. As Director-HR and
Administration, he provides direction, management and leadership in
human resources and administration. Major responsibilities include the
formation and execution of policies of PCI/India, recruitment and
orientation of staff, performance management, legal compliance, salary
structure, capacity building, organization development, and
administration such as budget, vehicle, purchase, payroll, PF & gratuity
and security.

Ms.
Charu Chopra
Director-Resource
Mobilization & Documentation
Charu has a Master’s degree in Social Work
and more than 17 years of experience in the social development sector.
In the social development field, she has experience in capacity
building, program management, documentation and dissemination,
networking and advocacy, and strategic planning. She joined PCI/India on
September 03, 2007 as the Director-Resource Mobilization and
Documentation. Her main role is to generate resources, develop new
proposals, provide technical support to ongoing programs, develop
corporate partnership strategies, document country programs and explore
opportunities for collaboration with donors. She is also responsible for
regular updates of PCI/India’s website

Mr.
Varughese Antony
Manager- Administration & HR
Antony is an ex-Indian Navy personnel,
decorated with Commendation from the Vice Chief of Naval Staff. He has a
master’s degree in Public Administration and 26 years of practical
experience. Before joining the PCI/India team on May 1, 2005, he served
the Indian Navy and worked with Deepalaya, an NGO. In PCI/India Antony
is responsible for providing administrative and logistic support to the
PCI/India country office and coordinating with regional offices for
Administrative and HR related issues.

Md.
Ataur Rab
Project
Manager(PEI)
Ataur is a postgraduate in social work from
AMU (Aligargh Muslim University). He has eight years of experience in
the field of social development in the areas of health and sanitation,
trafficking and HIV/AIDS. He was program officer with NYKS (Nehru Yuva
Kendra Sangathan) on YPPTA (Youth Participation in Trafficking and
HIV/AIDS) project before joining PCI/India on February 01, 2008 as
Project Manager for CORE group polio project.

Ms.
Aarti Kapoor
Research Associate
Aarti Kapoor is a Masters in
Business Administration. She has 4 years experience in development
sector in the field of microfinance and livelihoods. She joined PCI/India
on 01st Jun 2008 as a Research Associate CIDP. She is
coordinating the research and implementation activities of ‘Connecting
India to Disconnect Poverty’ Project that aims to find out the
information gaps between an MFI and its clients and further develop a
M-Commerce application.

Ms. Ashwini Jog
Manager-Sure
Start
Ashwini Jog is an MA in Social work from TISS (Tata
Institute of Social Sciences). She has 19-years of experience in social
development in the areas of gender, violence, media and rural
development where her expertise is on gender issues in development.
Aswini joined the PCI/India Pune team on April 9, 2007 as Project
Manager of the Sure Start program.

Mr. H.N.
Malim
Manager-Project BESST
Malim has a Master’s in Social Work
and has notable publications on HIV/AIDS. He has handled programs on
child labor and child related issues, STI/HIV/AIDS among youth, children
and communities while working on development-related projects in Salem.
Malim joined PCI/India on February 25, 2003 and after the tsunami, he
has been working in Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu as the manager of the
tsunami project BESST. He is responsible for all activities related to
the implementation and subsequent running of the project, staying on
target with strategic objectives of the project, and ensuring a strong
system of monitoring & evaluation and coordination with the
stakeholders.

Mr.
Ram Kumar S
Program Manager
Ramkumar is a post graduate in clinical
psychology with specialization in sexual health. He has got 13 years of
experience in HIV/AIDS, disaster management and management consultancy
through training and development for corporate sector, bilateral and
multilateral organizations. He has specialized in strategic management
and rendered trainings on the same to International/National agencies.
He has got host of publications in targeted interventions in HIV/AIDS,
disaster management and psychosocial management. He joined PCI /India
as program manager for the Salem regional office in July 2007. At
present he is in - charge for the PATHWAY programs in Salem and Warangal
and managing the activities and providing technical support to other
partner NGOs in South India.
