Mr. V.S.Gurumani
Country Director

V.S. Gurumani has four decades of experience in industry, consulting and social development. He has Masters degrees in Management, Commerce and Systems Analysis. Prior to entering social development in 1997 as Assistant Country Director with CARE India, Guru worked in banking, manufacturing, consumer products, hotels and oil exploration and refining, holding increasing responsibilities up to the level of CEO. His corporate experience includes the Tata Group, DCM, Sterling Holiday Resorts and ABC Consultants. He joined Project Concern International as its India Country Director on October 1 2008. Guru has extensive experience in humanitarian assistance, health and livelihoods, all core areas of PCI’s work in India. Additionally, he is passionate about working with children and is excited about PCI’s program with street children in the NCR


Mr. Sanjay Gupta
Director-Finance

Sanjay is a CA & ICWA professional with twelve years experience in the corporate sector with a focus on financial accounting, consolidation and finalization of accounts/balance sheet, tax planning, product costing, pricing and cost control, and internal, statutory and management audit. Prior to joining the PCI/India team on July 25, 2005, Sanjay worked for Haier Appliances (India) Ltd. As Director-Finance and PCI/India, his responsibilities include supervision, guidance and mentoring of the entire finance team, financial management and control, handling of business laws and regulations, financial reporting to donors and the PCI International Office, and system formulation for various financial operation activities.


Mr. Peter Joseph Trinidad
Director-HR & Administration

Peter has a master’s degree and more than 21 years of experience in NGO networking, women’s empowerment, rural development, project formulation implementation, and human resource management of various developmental programs. Before joining PCI/India in January 2003 as the State Coordinator in Rajasthan, he worked with CARE-India for more than 13 years. As Director-HR and Administration, he provides direction, management and leadership in human resources and administration. Major responsibilities include the formation and execution of policies of PCI/India, recruitment and orientation of staff, performance management, legal compliance, salary structure, capacity building, organization development, and administration such as budget, vehicle, purchase, payroll, PF & gratuity and security.


Ms. Charu Chopra
Director-Resource Mobilization & Documentation

Charu has a Master’s degree in Social Work and more than 17 years of experience in the social development sector. In the social development field, she has experience in capacity building, program management, documentation and dissemination, networking and advocacy, and strategic planning. She joined PCI/India on September 03, 2007 as the Director-Resource Mobilization and Documentation. Her main role is to generate resources, develop new proposals, provide technical support to ongoing programs, develop corporate partnership strategies, document country programs and explore opportunities for collaboration with donors.


Mr. Pankaj Vinayak Sharma
Director PEHCHAN & HELP


Pankaj Vinayak Sharma has a social work background and is currently the Project Director for projects focusing on Community Health in rural and peri-urban areas, livelihoods, disaster risk reduction and bridging the digital divide for the poor entrepreneurs. He has been with Project Concern International for past eleven months and prior to it has worked with international development organizations over past nine years. Mr. Sharma specializes in the management of development programs focused on HIV prevention, reproductive health and disaster management. He has a successful track record in management of multi-disciplinary project implementation teams, NGO and CBO relationships. Mr. Sharma has experience of designing, establishing and implementing projects with a focus on results. He also has knowledge and experience of integrating crosscutting approaches – participation, gender, equity rights and community mobilization in programming.



Dr.Vikas Aggarwal
Director HIV/AIDS Program & Integrated Health

Dr Vikas Aggarwal is a medical graduate with post graduation in healthcare management (Gold Medallist). Dr Aggarwal is a result oriented professional with vast experience of working on health related projects with international NGOs and bilateral agencies. His specialist areas include Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV programming – including complete project cycle management, strategic design, management and implementation of integrated public health/ development projects and establishing linkages with health policies. He has got substantial experience of managing community based health programme and managing grant portfolios, monitoring grass root level implementation. He is well skilled in analysing, developing and managing M&E systems for planning & implementing effective control measures. Further he brings in strong experience of designing and managing health systems and management research


Ms. Leena Rajan
Program Manager

Leena Rajan, is currently the Program Manager/Regional Office incharge for Project Concern International/India’s operations in Maharshtra and Karnataka. She has over 10 years of experience in the management of development programs and particularly so in the field of public health. She holds a masters degree in Social Work from TISS, Mumbai (1997) and has served with both local (Tata Steel Rural Development Society / Foundation for Research in Community Health) and international (CARE, Project Concern International and University of Manitoba-KHPT) organizations.


Mr.Ram Kumar S
Project Manager

S. Ramkumar is a post graduate in clinical psychology with specialization in sexual health. He has got 14 years of experience in HIV/AIDS, sexual health, disaster management and management consultancy through training and development for corporate sector, bilateral and multilateral organizations. He has specialized in strategic management and rendered trainings on the same to International/National agencies. He has developed public private partnership in enhancing the livelihood of PLHA with cost effective innovative models.He has got host of publications in targeted interventions in HIV/AIDS, disaster management and psychosocial management. He joined PCI /India as program manager for the Salem regional office in July 2007. At present he is in - charge for the PATHWAY programs in Salem and Warangal, managing all the activities and providing technical support to other partner NGOs in South India .


Mr.H.N.Malim
Regional Project Manager- based in Nagapattinam, Tamilnadu

Malim is a Master’s in Social Work and has 11 years of meritorious experience in the field of developmental sector. During the years 1998 -2003 he dedicated himself towards working with vulnerable and marginalized groups like Women, Female Sex Worker, Child & Bonded Labour, Scheduled Cast people and Tribal. From 2003 to 2004 he offered his service to Care and Support program for the People living with HIV/AIDS in Salem / Tamilnadu. From 2004 to Mar’2009 he has been spectacularly involving in Disaster Management (Tsunami Relief and Rehabilitation program) and effective implementation and successive running of the project through keeping in line with the strategic objectives of the project. Presently he is managing CSR initiative (Health and Livelihood) of PCI in Tamilnadu and Puducherry state. He has been ensuring the sturdy system of Monitoring & Evaluation and Coordination with the various partners and stakeholders at all levels.


Mr. Sanjay Pandey
Program Manager

Mr. Sanjay has been working in the field of disaster management since 2004 floods in Bihar. The focus of work is coordination of all stake holders district, state, country level for Bihar floods ( natural disasters)also in Community Based Disaster Preparedness.

 

 


Ms. Kshetrimayum Babita Devi
Project Officer

Babita has a master’s degree in Sociology and more than 10 years of experience of the social development sector. She is currently coordinating the Project Concern International /India program in North East India that is a Community Home Based care program that provides services to PLHIV in Sagolband Assembly constituency of Imphal West District and Churacandpur district of Manipur and Dimapur district in Nagaland. Before she joined PCI she worked as an Institutional Development Organiser in North Eastern Community Resource Management Society for livelihood development project in the uplands in North East India funded by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
